The 1912 Dubuque City Directory&#039;s entry for Mariquita Mining Company states that Henry C. Reche is the company&#039;s president, William O. Buckingham is secretary and treasurer, and the office is located in room 306 of the Security Building, corner 8th and Main.<br />

In the 1970s, the man in the photo was verbally identified as &quot;Henry Ritchie.&quot;  Later research confirmed &quot;Reche&quot; as the correct spelling of his name.]]></dcterms:references>

Newspapers are on display on a counter beneath a wire cage. At left is a doorway leading to either a hotel dining room or a sitting room.
