A lengthy strip of narrow paper extends from the machine toward the floor. Beside her to the right, another woman is seated at a desk comparing information on two pieces of paper. To the left of the machine, a man is seated at a desk and is holding a piece of paper. A third woman is partially visible beside the man&#039;s desk and behind the machine. A June, 1912 calendar hangs on the left wall behind the man&#039;s desk and a May 1912 calendar hangs high on the rear wall.  Numerous boxes, file boxes and ledgers are piled on desks and shelves. A sign on one box, which reads “Lawson-Laughlin Sanitary Steak Shredder,” and decals for “Kitchen Klenzer” pasted onto a lamp shade hanging over the man&#039;s desk may indicate that this office is associated with a company active in the food industry.
